Olivia Price has her sights set on London.
THIS sailor has the London Olympics in sight.
Olivia Price, 19, is skipper of a three-woman team who won silver at the Miami Olympic Class Regatta recently, putting her one step closer to the Olympics in July.
For the Drummoyne resident, the Olympics has been a childhood dream.
“I’ve always wanted to go to the Olympics, just never known what for,” she said.
Her team is one of two vying for the coveted Australian spot in the Olympic squad.
“Over the next few months everyone will be pulling out everything they can,” Price said. Price did her HSC by correspondence due to sailing.
WHAT IT TAKES
-Five to six days sailing, four to seven hours each day
-Seven days at the gym
-Team has been sailing together since June last year
