News Local - My Pittwater - Manly Daily 30 May 2012
 Mayor Angelo Tsirekas of Canada Bay and Olivia Mayor Angelo and I finally managed to get some shots off today with the Canada Bay Sports Citizen Of The Year Award down at my local Drummoyne Sailing Club - bit cold and wet but very nice to have been honoured with this.
I'm off tomorrow to run the final part of our campaign - had a wonderful time here over May and all set now to do what we set out to do four years ago. :))) 
A HUGE congratulations is in order for everyone who came along last night and made it one of the most special nights we've had. The turnout was beyond expectations and we hope you had as much fun as we did!!!
Big day yesterday for Olivia - Ten Breakfast interview and Olympic Farewell Dinner leading the Athletes Parade... Even bigger night tonight for the ONLY team with our ONLY Sendoff at Zest - Middle Harbour 16' Skiff Club where we get to say our farewell before heading to the London 2012 Olympic Games.

We've been out of range with bad internet for the Hyeres Regatta but here's an overall update:
We placed 9th overall in the Hyeres world cup event. It was a tough week with a strong mistral wind blowing for the majority of the regatta. A big thank you to all of our supporters over the past couple of weeks for inviting all of your friends to join and like our page!! ONLY Girls are back in Sydney now!!!!! We had a very productive tour, now some rest and recovery for a week... |
