Craig Heydon, Thursday, 29 September 2011Yachting Australia has announced the finalists for the 2011 Australian Yachting Awards, with impressive achievements highlighted in all categories.
The 2011 Australian Yachting Awards recognises outstanding achievements in the sport of sailing between 16 August 2010 and 31 August 2011 with the winners will be named at a dinner on Friday 28 October at Sydney’s Luna Park.
Yachting Australia again received a long list of worthy nominees with 65 nominations for the eight categories.
The Youth Sailor of the Year Award will go to either Women’s Match Racing skipper Olivia Price, Australian Youth Sailing Team members Angus Galloway and Alexander Gough, Matthew Wearn or Ashley Stoddart, or International Cadet sailors Anton and Julian Sasson.
